Kindred Spirits Time passed slowly in the town where Lina lived, and she couldn't wait until time

passed enough where she could leave it forever. The town where she resided was small;

small enough where so few people knew about it, but it played a major part in her country.

It was a major hub for the making of iron, and while the town itself was very small,

numerous amounts of people from all over the country came to the iron works. When she was

little, Lina had loved the iron works and wanted to stay in her town her whole life so she

could work there. But now that she was older, she wanted nothing more than to leave that

barren wasteland that had on
Once upon a DecemberThe walls echo of times long past;

The former rule of the Tzars.

Such elegant lives, so mystic and yet somehow as hard as a regular person.

The summers were warm and spent in fantastic summer homes,

The springs flourished with Russian flowers; the most beautiful in the continent.

The falls were all shades of gold, orange and red that fell from the trees;

Not dying persay, but falling asleep.

All the while the Tzars, rulers of a country so powerful and large,

lived like the royalty they were until it finally came to an end...

One July day, where an entire, innocent family were wiped from the earth.

All due to a bloody, world changing
Fly AwayI want to fly away from here,

and be the woman I've dreamed I would be.

It does mean leaving behind all I know,

wiping the black board that is my life totally clean.

It's worth it though, to throw caution to the wind.

To be spontaneous like the seasons.

To be out going like a small child would be, without worry.

To try and improve my life,

and make memories forever imprinted in my mind.

I want to fly away from here;

spread my wings and fly into the horizon.

Brushing my fingertips against the cotton candy clouds,

watching the place I come from, fade from view.
